Norma Lopez Moreno Valley, Missing Girl’s Body Found

Authorities have identified today the body found in the outskirts of Moreno Valley as the body of 17-year-old Norma Lopez. Her identity was established after today’s autopsy.

The body, which was already partially decomposed, was found by a resident of the area, in the outskirts of town, near the 60 freeway. The state of the body could not help its quick identification.
The case has for now encountered a roadblock as police have confirmed there are no suspects on the case.  The only information they have right now is that witnesses saw a green SUV speeding off the area where Lopez disappeared.
Norma Lopez has been missing since Thursday when her sister reported her disappearance, after she never returned from a summer class in Valley View High School. Yesterday police offered a reward of $35,000 for anyone knowing about the whereabouts of Lopez or about the identity of the criminal responsible of abducting her.
The case has ended in a very sad way, but authorities still need help of anyone with information on the case. You can call (877) 242-4345, or send an e-mail to findnorma@riversidesheriff.org.
