Mike Bibby
Mike Bibby Reaches Buyout With Wizards, Reportedly Headed To Heat
Mike Bibby will sign with the Miami Heat, according to a report by ESPN's Chris Broussard. Bibby reached a surprising buyout with the Washington Wizards Monday in which the veteran point guard gave up all salary due to him -- more than $6 million in all -- to be released to find a new squad. Bibby had been traded to the Wizards in a deal that sent Kirk Hinrich to the Atlanta Hawks last week. Bibby appeared in two games (briefly) for the Wizards before his agent David Falk -- a powerful rep who once called Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing clients -- worked out the buyout.
Given that Bibby is unlikely to earn $5 million as a free agent on the open market at season's end, cynics could fairly assume that the Heat suggested plans to sign Bibby to an above-market deal this offseason in order to help the point guard recoup lost wages given up in the buyout. That said, Antonio McDyess gave up substantial guaranteed salary in a buyout after a trade to the Denver Nuggets several years ago; McDyess then re-signed with the Detroit Pistons for the remainder of the season, and signed for the mid-level exception with the San Antonio Spurs that offseason.
But given the potential for an NBA lockout at season's end, Bibby's buyout remains curious.
Wonderlic Sample Test
Sample 'Wonderlic' Test
wonderlic sample testOne of the more interesting tests the players at the NFL Scouting Combine have to take is not even on the gridiron. It's in the classroom and it's the intimidating 'Wonderlic' Test, which supposedly goes a long way towards measuring a player's "Football IQ." The history of the test includes some very interesting scores, both at the high and low end. A few years ago, former University of Texas and Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young reportedly scored a '6' on the test. At the same time, Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick scored a '50' and Washington Redskins QB Donovan McNabb got a '14' on his test.
Does this really matter in terms of translating into a good, or bad NFL player? That still remains to be seen with scores all over the place for both good and not-so-good players in the league. Regardless, it's still an interesting topic for conversation around the NFL Combine.
For a 20-question sample test of the Wonderlic that you can take and check your score,
PS - I got 16 correct for an adjusted score of 40. Could I have been an NFL QB?

Adonis DNA
Charlie Sheen Has Tiger Blood, Adonis DNA
adonis dna on a media bender this week – unlike his other benders.
“I’m not angry, I’m passionate,” the actor said on The Today Show. “Everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back. I’m just gonna forewarn them that it’s everybody else that’s going to be begging me for their job back.”
In a separate interview, Sheen tells 20/20 he is high – on himself: ”I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen,” he jokes in an interview that will air on Tuesday.
“I’ve one speed, I’ve one gear, go! And I dare you to keep up with me,” he added.
Check out a clip of the interview after the jump…

Charlie Sheen’s Astounding New Interview on “Today Show” (VIDEO)
charlie sheen today showhas moved from radio rants to a full-scale television blitz, appearing on the “Today Show” to discuss the personal and professional firestorm he’s lit.
The (former) “Two and a Half Men” star talks to Jeff Rossen about, well, a lot – including his “war” with CBS, violence against women, being a role model for his children, charges of anti-Semitism, turning his home into a “crisis management center,” and what he plans to do next.
At various points, Sheen quotes NBA star Allen Iverson, calls himself a “warlock,” directly addresses show creator Chuck Lorre with questions he’s scrawled on index cards, slams Will & Grace, reads sarcastically from the Alcoholics Anonymous handbook, and claims to have “tiger blood” and “Adonis DNA.”
Will you please excuse me.
I love a posed candid shot. Don't you?

Sleeping and waking up with the same person for the rest of your life
Sleeping and waking up with the same person for the rest of your life
Sleeping and waking up with the same person for the rest of your life is the romantic dream of lovers and millions have been doing so since Adam and Eve. But not all romantic dreams come true as millions of single parents and separated lovers can testify today.
How do you know that a particular person would be the right man or woman to sleep and wake with for the rest of your life without being bored or tired of the person?
It was only once that I saw my my father and mother of blessed memory quarreling and sleeping apart in the same room until they died and I wished for such a beautiful and wonderful marriage when I was growing up since they gave me a happy childhood. And the only Nigerian lady I can sleep and wake up with for the rest of my life has been my close friend for 14 years now. But I believe in free love and may not end up with only one mother of my children. So, I do not see myself sleeping and waking up with the same woman for the rest of my life.
I did it for two months with the lady I was engaged to 12 years ago and I was happy. But we separated, because she did not want the kind of big picture life I wanted. She was not fashionable enough and wanted a simple Nigerian life that was not romantic enough for me. Three other young ladies also fell by the way side after her. And I have decided to dump monogamy for good and I now prefer to sleep and wake up with at least four different women from four different continents.
~ By Ekenyerengozi Michael Chima, the author of “Scarlet Tears of London” and other books.
