Might be a movie about those wife-swapping Yankees
mike kekich and fritz petersonThe New York Post offers an update on the attempt by Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon to craft a movie about the infamous wife-swap between two Yankees pitchers in the '70s.
Affleck has acknowledged he and his brother Casey are rewriting a script of The Trade, inspired by Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich trading spouses in 1972. Susanne Kekich and Peterson are still married, but the fling was short-lived for Marilyn Peterson and Kekich.
The Post says Kekich has a new life and family in New Mexico, and won't assist the movie production. (Can't really blame him, since Affleck and Damon are die-hard Red Sox fans, and perhaps can't be trusted to give Yankees a fair shake.)
The Post says Naomi Watts, Rachel Weisz and Rebecca Hall are being considered for the female leads and that Damon might direct.
