*Bollywood Actress on Holi Festival News*

If the harmful chemicals of the Holi colours are restricting you to enjoy the spirit of the festival then follow the hair and skin care regime of celebrities and throw caution to the wind and have a fun-filled Holi

Deepika Padukone, Bollywood Actress
I always celebrate Holi but unfortunately as I am shooting the next day, this year I will be unable to participate in the festivities. Holi as a child was really fun and I can recall playing Holi when I was in school with my friends in my building. Though I thoroughly enjoy playing with colours I use coconut oil to ensure that my skin and hair remain safe.

Anushka Sharma, Bollywood Actress
I have always loved Holi because of the energy it possesses, the joy it brings and the colours it adds. However, in all the madness of gulal, water balloons and pichkaris, one should still be careful. I have always enjoyed Holi and to enjoy it in all it’s colours I make sure to oil my hair with coconut oil before going out to play. Applying coconut hair oil on your scalp acts as a barrier and prevents colours from directly coming in contact with hair and will lessen the damage. After the celebration, it is important to wash off the colours from the hair with a good shampoo and conditioner. If hair gets dry then warm oil accompanied with hot towel treatment should be taken the next day. This will help the hair to retain its lustre.

Esha Deol, Bollywood Actress
I associate Holi with lots of fun and having a wild time. I played Holi a lot as a kid and we used to go really wild. I remember throwing eggs at people and once I ended up pelting a police person and had to go to the police station. I have definitely sobered down now, but still thoroughly enjoying this festival. Our first ritual is to put colour on Lord Krishna’s murti, before we start playing. Applying coconut oil on my hair before playing is also one of the rituals for me.

Avika Gor, TV actor
I love playing Holi and do so with great pride. This year I plan to colour everyone around me, as I feel no one should be left clean. Holi is a festival of colours and it’s meaningless without it. However, I ensure that my hair remains safe by applying coconut oil.

Diana Hayden, model / TV actor
Holi to me means lots of fun and also it’s one festival that transcends all religion and castes. This year I plan to go to a friend’s bungalow at Madh Island. I remember having a blast as a child. It was great fun with the pichkaris and colours. I used to play with my brother and his friends. I clearly remember that as I got a little older I became conscious of playing with the boys. I had locked myself on the terrace but they broke down the door and got me all coloured. It was riotous.

I have no fears about Holi. I think Holi is meaningless without stains. However, I recommend that one can oil their hair as a precaution. Some colours are so harmful, so I recommend moisturising the body with coconut or olive oil.

Vidya Malvade, TV actor
I am totally looking forward to Holi this year since it happens to be my first Holi after my wedding. My husband and his family have plans to drench me in colour of their love and tradition. The best way to take care of skin and hair is to apply loads of oil, so that the colour does not stick. I feel coconut oil is a good option.

Aarti Chhabria, model-turned-film actorBollywood Actress
I love playing Holi. This year’s Holi celebration would be with my family and close friends. As a kid I used to play Holi with water-balloons, but now due to the water shortage we can’t do that. However, I still have loads of fun and frolic and keep the spirit of the festival alive. As far as my skin and hair is concerned I just oil my hair with coconut oil before playing Holi because colours come off easily from oily surfaces.

Pooja Bedi, film/TV actor
For me, Holi is a colourful, crazy, messy, fun-filled and ecstatic festival. However, sometimes the constant exposure to the sun and oodles of colour on your body and hair can have harm effects. In order to keep it at a bay, I play Holi with safe colours and plaster my hair and body with lots of coconut oil. It protects the skin and hair against the harmful colours. Post Holi I scrub off the colour with warm water and moisturise my skin very well.

Divya Dutta, film / TV actor
Right from my childhood I am a dedicated Holi player. I love going to Shabanaji’s Holi party as it has some great music, food and of course, colour. I love the entire feel and mood of Holi. To protect my hair and skin I follow nani maa’s nuska of applying coconut oil. Prior to the Holi celebration I oil my hair and skin properly, so the colour doesn’t stick for long. After the celebration is over then I remove the colours with oil and cleanser.

Narayani Shastri, TV actor
Holi is the only festival that I actually celebrate. The celebration is about hopping from one party to another and finally settling with family and close friends. As such I do not have any fears related to Holi since we play Holi with safe colours like gulal and herbal colours. I just oil my hair and face with coconut oil. It is like a coating of safety. After the celebration, it’s important to wash off the colour from the hair and body thoroughly and let it stay without any make up as it will help the skin to breathe.

Shilpa Saklani, TV actor
I enjoy playing Holi. But, as of now I haven’t made any plans for this year’s Holi celebration. In order to protect my hair from the harmful chemicals present in some colours I apply a mix of coconut and castor oil and for the skin I just use a good moisturiser, it does the trick!

Kanchi Kaul, TV actor
I love playing Holi as it’s good fun. This Holi I plan to celebrate at one of my friend’s place. I don’t fear any skin or hair damage since of late people have started playing Holi with organic colours. For the sake of precaution I oil my hair and body with thick coconut oil. The oil coating really helps in taking out the colour.

Anushka Sharma’s Negative Attitude At The Shoots

A bitchy actress calls to say that Anushka Sharma is becoming too big for her boots these days.
When a cinematographer is setting up the light, he makes the actors to stand there so that the light falls properly on their face and make them look optimally beautiful. But Miss Sharma feels she is a diva.
The birdy from the crew says, “On the sets of Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, she sends one of her assistants of the same height to stand in for her to get the lighting right, as it’s a waste of time for her. She doesn’t realise that it falls differently on every face.
Even Katrina and Kareena stand because they know it will make them look beautiful. Anushka’s co-stars are laughing at her because of her ignorance and attitude.”

Katrina Kaif Shahrukh Khan Together – For Director Yash Chopra Upcoming Next Movies 2011 ,News,Bollywood Movies

(1) As because of Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif has been postponed, Yash Chopra's directorial comeback headlining.

After the release of this movie, he is expected to stay busy with promotions of Don 2, which is slotted for release on December 23.

Besides giving SRK plenty of time to wrap his current commitments, in numerology 15 is equal to 6 (1 + 5 = 6), which YRF considers lucky for its production house.

(2) Katrina Kaif has enthralled the audience with her rhythmic gyrations to the hit track 'Sheila Ki Jawani'

As per Latest Katrina Kaif Interviews, she said that, "I was never the next big thing. It was more a sort of okay she was good in this film, danced better in this one and showed her range in this."

"I would go to the ad agencies and get called for auditions. I got most of the ads, except for one where I had to play kabbadi."

Bipasha Basu Item Number Songs

Bipasha Basu has always refrained from doing special dance numbers for films where she was not a part of the main cast, is now willing to perform an item number for a film where she is not the leading lady.

As per Latest Bipasha Basu Interviews, she said that, “Yes, maybe I need to give special songs and dance numbers a rethink.”

“My last few films have all been realistic, due to which I haven’t been a part of any quintessential song and dance numbers. I guess I may take an exception now and give my nod to a song if it is really exclusive to a film, and is cool and catchy,” she says.

She didn't star in the item song in Dum Maaro Dum, despite her playing the female lead in the film.

As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, she said that, "Deepika is a good dancer so she was a great choice for the song. Also, the remixed Dum Maaro Dum has a rap feel to it. It takes time to grow on you and I am not a rap fan so I don't think I missed much."

"Worldwide when someone thinks of Goa, he gets an impression of a heavenly place which is chilled out, relaxed and colorful with hippies, flowery dresses, beautiful bodies, beaches and sun. Of course that's true and we have shown all of that in our film as well. But no, this isn't all about Goa; there is more to that as well, something that we have brought on screen in Dum Maaro Dum.”

"This is an entirely wrong perception that you are carrying. There are parts of Goa which are owned by different personalities belonging to mixed races. In the film we have shown how Russians, Portuguese, Europeans and even Nigerians have been dominating the city. If you go to Goa and spend more than a fortnight there without looking at it as a tourist, you would realise it isn't entirely what it seems."

SRK, Saif, Deepika: Airport interactions! - Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, March 17 -- Hello hello my darling dimsums! It's such a crazy day today ki kya kahoon? So before I go any more crazier with my hectic work, let me get straight to your dose of daily goss. So read on my sweetums, to know what no one else will tell you about tinsel town folks...

At long last, director Prakash Jha wrapped up the marathon spell of his next movie, Aarakshan, in Bhopal. No wonder, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone were thrilled to be back in town. Sher Lock Holmes recalls spotting them exiting the international airport the other day, grinning from ear to ear.

But when the lissome lass spotted Shah Rukh Khan coming out from the other gate, she couldn't resist rushing to meet her Om Shanti Om hero. After a brief chit chat, she bid him good bye and started walking towards her car. Seems like she was so lost in her own world when the door of an SUV she reached, opened out. My super sleuth tells me that she was about to get in when she realised it wasn't her car. Padukone apologised saying, "Sorry, I thought it was my car."

Turned out it was Saifu's gaadi, but he wasn't giving her a lift. Instead, he was overheard saying, "I just wanted to say bye before I drove off,' recalls Sher Lock bhai, adding that the Chhota Nawab zoomed off soon afterwards. Fortunately for Padukone, her Audi gaadi arrived within seconds and as soon as she got in, she instructed her chauffeur to get home quick. Phew!

Imran, Kareena: Chalo double seat! - Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, March 17 -- Since time does matter, everyone seems to be trying out different ways to save their minutes, remarks my dhobi Safedi Lal. He's just strolled in to deliver fresh linen and is telling me that Imran Khan has taken to bike-riding at his shoot.

No, he's not turned into a motorcycle enthusiast like John Abraham, I'm told. Instead, the Khan boy, who's currently filming Short Term Shaadi with Kareena Kapoor at Madh Island, just borrows his hairstylist's bike to reach the sets of his film.

Before you let your imagination wander any more, let me tell you that his vanity van is parked some distance away from the sets. And since it's too hot to walk it up, the actor prefers to save a few minutes by biking it. Sometimes, Bebo also rides double seat with him to the sets. Now that's what I call bike bonding. Hai na!

Lara recalls her phobias! - Bollywood NEws Gossips

Mumbai, March 17 -- My dhobi is back, and now he wants me to hear about Lara Dutta recalling her fear. The actor who celebrated her 33rd janam din yesterday, spoke about her phobia of water on her voice blog.

Apparently, when she was 15 years young, she had almost drowned... and since then, she never ventured close to a water body. However, she extensively spoke about how she worked on overcoming her phobia and eventually was able to dive in and out off water while shooting her adventure movie, Blue.

The lissome lass exhorts her listeners to not fear anything and work hard to overcome whatever they are afraid of. Chalo, badhiya hai.
