Anna Kournikova Gives Us An Update

Anna Kournikova has been out of the spotlight for a little while now, and she says that's exactly how she likes it. Anna sat down with Sports Illustrated and talked about all the rumors that go along with being who she is.

First order of business? "I'm not married, not pregnant, didn't have a boob job, no Botox. What else?" Well she gets right to the point, doesn't she?

Anna also addressed how the paparazzi affect her and boyfriend Enrique Iglesias. She says, "Girls look at him. Guys look at me. It goes with the job, but it gets annoying when you feel violated. Just take the picture and be done."

As for the pressures of looking good in Hollywood, Anna says she doesn't mind aging, and doesn't understand the obsession with staying young. She says, "Why are people afraid of getting older? You feel wiser. You feel more mature. You feel like you know yourself better. You would trade that for softer skin? Not me!"

It seems like Anna has transitioned very well from being in the limelight so much, so fading into the background, all while staying grounded, and staying with Enrique! Maybe no marriage is the best-kept secret to a lasting relationship!

Did Enrique and Anna Split?

When it comes to his personal life, Enrique Iglesias is as private as it gets. And when he does talk, it always contradicts comments he's made before, so it's hard to tell when he's joking and when he's serious.

Enrique apparently just told the Daily Star: "Oh I'm not married, no. I mean I was married. I was married, seriously.

"I was married a year ago to Anna and I don't know what happened. We're not married anymore but we are kind of still in contact."

When it comes to super private couple Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova, it's hard to tell when they're being serious and when they're being sarcastic.

Enrique claims that he's repeatedly asked his longtime girlfriend Anna to marry him but he's had no luck. He says, ''I always try, but she pays me no attention.''

And although cleavage and legs would generally be regarded as a fashion faux-pas, in this case Anna wisely chose to bend the rules.

But then, with a flawless figure and golden complexion, who could blame her?

Anna, 28, cut a stunning figure in a black mini-dress and high heels. Despite her revealing attire, she seemed to receive no complaints from boyfriend.

The couple, who have been dating since 2001, appeared the picture of happiness as they enjoyed dinner in Paris last night.

Since retiring from professional tennis, Anna has been busy making a name for herself as a model.

And by the looks of things, her career is in no danger of dwindling.

Earlier in the day, the pair, who live together in Miami, were spotted jewellery shopping at Cartier - fueling further rumours they intend to marry.

Enrique, dressed down in a cap and hoodie, put a protective arm around his girlfriend as they strolled around the French capital.

The 34-year-old has been vocal about his desire to tie the knot, despite Anna's determination to never get married.

False reports circulated in 2004 that the pair got married in a secret ceremony in Mexico after Kournikova was pictured wearing a wedding band on her ring finger at the time.

The couple continued to face speculation in 2007 when Iglesias jokingly told a Swedish newspaper, 'We're divorced. I am single now, but that's okay. I don't mind being alone.'

The pair spent 40 minutes inside the high-end jewelry store, but it's not known if they walked away with a new bauble for Kournikova.

Though Kournikova has dodged engagement rumors in the past – she told PEOPLE in April 2008 that she was "never getting married" – Iglesias has been vocal about his desire to marry her.

"I always try, but she pays me no attention," Iglesias told reporters a couple of days later after Kournikova made her comments.

Rumors circulated in 2004 that the pair got married in a secret ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Kournikova was photographed wearing a wedding band on her ring finger at the time – but the reports proved not to be true.

The couple continued to face speculation in May 2007 when Iglesias told a Swedish newspaper, "We're divorced. I am single now, but that's okay. I don't mind being alone." He later retracted his quotes and told reporters it was simply a joke.
