Natalie Portman won’t discuss ‘Black Swan’ double drama

Sarah Lane recently came out to state that she never got credit for doing most of the ballet work for Natalie Portman in ‘Black Swan,’ and while many have defended Portman, the actress isn’t getting involved.
Portman was recently asked about the controversy, but refused to involve herself, states E! News. “I had a chance to make something beautiful with this film and I don’t want to give in to the gossip,” the Oscar-winner says about Lane’s claims.
Fox Searchlight has defended Portman, while Lane claims that they are trying to make it seem that she became ballerina in a year.

Portman Feels she is just Like An Old Hag

Portman Feels she is just Like An Old HagOscar favourite Natalie Portman feels like an "old hag", because she's been working as an actress for almost 20 years.

The Black Swan star kickstarted her career as a child model, before working on Broadway and landing her first film role in controversial 1994 movie Leon when she was just 12 years old.

After working tirelessly for the last two decades, Portman has been lauded for her role as a deranged dancer in the ballet thriller, winning several honours and becoming favourite to walk away with the Best Actress Academy Award later this month (Feb11).

But Portman admits she's struggling to cope with all the sudden acclaim because she's been around for so long.

She tells the Los Angeles Times, "I made my first movie when I was 11. I'm an old hag. I guess it's pretty common with actors, to be doing this for 18 years, but it's extreme. "I feel like I'm on another planet or something right now.

It's not quite sinking in.

I feel really lucky.

It's something that's completely wonderful, and I have a very definite goal I'm working toward with that".

Natalie Portman says lesbian sex scene was hard

Natalie Portman says lesbian sex scene was hardNatalie Portman has revealed that her much-hyped sex scene with Mila Kunis in their new flick Black Swan was hard. Walking the red carpet to promote the Darren Arronofsky film, Portman admitted that shooting the graphic love scene was confronting, according to the Huffington Post.

"It's hard to have a sex scene, period. It doesn't matter if it's a friend, a male, a female," News.com.au quoted her as saying. "You're with 100-something crew members, lighting you, repositioning you, there's no comfort whatsoever," she said.

Last month, Kunis slammed reports that the pair had downed tequila together before their risqué shoot. "I don't think we could have done that scene if we were intoxicated," she told People at the time.

Both Kunis and Portman have discussed their gruelling training regimes for the film that saw them lose drastic amounts of weight. Five to eight hours a day of cross-training and swimming for a year saw both the petite stars shed 10kg each off their slight frames.
