Avril Lavigne's Life Saved By Her Boyfriend Brody Jenner

Avril Lavigne`s boyfriend Brody Jenner saved her life after he pulled her to safety when she was knocked off her surfboard during a lesson.

The `Girlfriend` singer was knocked off her surfboard during a lesson in Malibu, California, and it was left to her beau of three months to run into the sea to rescue her, Contactmusic reported.

"A big wave flipped her into the water upside down. Brody swam over and dragged Avril to shore, but she`d had the wind knocked out of her - she`d swallowed a bunch of water and was coughing," a source said.

"When Avril realised what happened, she was so thankful Brody was there to save her," the source said. Avril and Brody began dating earlier this year and although they kept quiet about their relationship to begin with, Avril recently drunkenly declared her for Brody while singing karaoke.

The `Complicated` hitmaker, who filed for divorce from her husband, rocker Deryck Whibley, last October, grabbed the microphone at the Bank nightclub in Las Vegas last month and wasn`t shy about her feelings.

"They were having a blast. They were taking shots with friends including Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, grabbing the microphone, shouting, `Jager shots` and making the crowd go wild," a source said.

The 25-year-old pop star even shouted, `I love you, Brody!` on the microphone.

Since splitting from husband, who she was married to for three years, Avril has been romantically linked with actor Wilmer Valderrama and oil heir Brandon Davis.

*Angelina Jolie’s “The Style of Jolie” jewelry collection preview: lovely or tragic?*

A couple of months ago, it was announced that Angelina Jolie was collaborating withjewelry designer Robert Procop on a jewelry line called… wait for it… The Style of Jolie. Now, you might say to yourself, “Hey, doesn’t Angelina wander around in burlap sack dresses most of the time? Is she really known for her fabulous taste in jewelry?”Exactly. While Angelina’s style choices - both in fashion and jewelry - can be hit or miss (to put it nicely), Angelina’s collaboration does have benefits. First of all, we all get to laugh at The Style of Jolie. Secondly, a percentage of the proceeds from The Style of Jolie will benefit one of Angelina’s charities, Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.

And now we have a preview! Oh, you will not believe how happy this has made me. The video preview has interviews with the men hosting this exhibition/auction/private sale event (I think?), and with Robert Procop, who says in part, “What we’re showing here is a collection that Angelina and I have been working on for the last nine months…Building not only a part of her style but real artistic forms using gemstones as the centerpiece. None of it is really my style, but then again, I don’t wear much jewelry. I like rings, and if I ever got my ears re-pierced (they grew over years ago), I would only wear smaller earrings. So much of this stuff looks way too big and too chunky for my tastes… and I generally don’t care for that much yellow gold. Much of it also seems rather dated, influenced by the jewelry styles of Angelina’s youth in the 1970s and 1980s. Is that an excess of topaz I spy? Yikes. But the emeralds are rather beautiful.

Vanity Fair kicked off Oscar week in style Monday night with a special Campaign Hollywood party in honor of "The Fighter." Supporting actress nominee Amy Adams may have been a little lonely walking the red carpet without cast mates Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo, but the star wasn't alone. Plenty of Hollywood's heavyweights came out in support of the film.

Is Deepika seeing Sidhartha Mallya?

Well, it’s not official as yet. But according to sources, model turned Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and young Sidhartha Mallya son of Vijay Mallya are seeing each other and are a couple.

Their many appearances in public together and constant photos suggest many things, don’t they? Rumors have that it all started in April, when Deepika was seen in Sidhartha’s VIP box. This was during the IPL matches when his team, the Bangalore Royal Challengers was playing. Deepika was like an additional brand ambassador despite the presence of Katrina Kaif, both of whom was cheering their team to good effect.

But apart from professional commitments, there was something personal attention given by the both of them. Sources say that only Deepika was believed to take time to think about the proposal and thinking about her decision to commit. The 24-year-old scintillating actress is still taking her time from her break up with Ranbir Kapoor. She isn’t really very keen to just jump into another relationship and that too that early as reports of their break up was just on the go.
